Biographical Account of Countee Cullen (May 30, 1903 - January 9, 1946) was an American poet, one of the finest of the Harlem Renaissance. His most famous poems are "Yet Do I Marvel" and "Incident", the latter of which describes a childhood trip to Baltimore.

This book includes chapters on: Countee Cullen and the Harlem Renaissance, Racial Poet, The Poet of the Universal: Religion, Death, Love; The Novelist and Playwright, The Critics and Cullen on Cullen, Countee Cullen's Genteel Scream, Notes and References, Selected Biography, & Index.

Cullen was a prominent member of Alpha Phi Alpha, the oldest intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African Americans.

Includes at least part of several of his Poems.
