Rommel's son and widow provided other insights.
This book uses Rommel's diaries, letters and personal papers, which were secreted away by his wife from the Nazis. With the assistance of his family, this book provides a fine insight into the mind and actions of one of the premier battlefield commanders of the Second World War ( WWII ).
